30304 – Florienne Amethyst

Purple cat eye glasses become distinctly expressive in Florienne Amethyst. The frame has an elongated cat-eye silhouette with sweeping upper edges that rise toward the outer corners before tapering into the temples. Its lenses remain softly curved along the lower rim, balancing the sharper upward movement across the brow and giving the front a fluid rather than overly angular shape.

The colour treatment is especially distinctive. Deep glossy black forms much of the central front and upper structure, while rich amethyst-purple edging follows the rims and becomes more prominent around the lower lens line and outer corners. Viewed from an angle, the purple layer catches the light and separates clearly from the darker black sections, giving the frame genuine depth rather than the appearance of a single flat colour.

Instead of separate metal nose pads, Florienne Amethyst uses an integrated moulded bridge and nose support. The bridge flows directly into the front of the frame, creating an uninterrupted sculpted centre. This construction reinforces the substantial appearance of the brow while keeping the area between the lenses clean and free from exposed fitting hardware.

The temples provide the strongest decorative contrast. Their purple base is covered with a bold white floral and botanical motif extending from the hinge area toward the curved tips. Portions of the temple appear translucent, allowing the internal metal core and hinge hardware to remain partially visible beneath the pattern. This layering of transparent material, white floral artwork and violet colour makes the side profile considerably more detailed than the front view first suggests.

Florienne Amethyst therefore changes character depending on the angle. From the front, the emphasis is on its dark sweeping cat-eye shape and glossy purple outline; from the side, the floral temples become the defining feature.
