30097 – Valen Graphite

Rectangular semi-rimless glasses take on a sharp, understated character with Valen Graphite. The frame features a low-profile rectangular lens shape with softly rounded corners and a defined horizontal upper line. Its streamlined proportions create a noticeably different look from Lensciaga’s rounder metal designs, with greater emphasis on clean geometry and structured detailing.

The front uses a semi-rimless construction. A slim metallic upper rim follows the top and outer portions of each lens, while the lower lens edge remains visually open with a fine retaining line. The visible metalwork has a dark graphite-to-gunmetal appearance, giving the frame a polished but restrained finish. The narrow single bridge continues the same metallic tone and connects the two lenses without adding unnecessary visual weight.

Clear adjustable nose pads sit beneath the bridge on individual metal pad arms. Their transparent construction keeps the centre of the frame open and allows the darker upper structure to remain the dominant design element. The bridge and nose-pad assembly are compact, complementing the relatively shallow rectangular lens profile.

The temples introduce a stronger black element. Broad, straight black arms extend from compact rectangular hinges and continue rearward before curving toward the ears. The temple ends show a subtle dark tonal pattern rather than a completely plain surface, adding a discreet decorative element that is most noticeable from the side and angled views.

Valen Graphite relies on its combination of rectangular geometry, semi-rimless construction and contrasting dark components for its identity. The fine metallic upper frame keeps the front precise, while the broader temples add more visual weight along the sides.

These rectangular semi-rimless glasses are suitable for prescription or clear optical lenses. Once glazed, the open lower lens area preserves the frame’s streamlined appearance while the defined upper rim and dark temples maintain its structured aesthetic.
