Structured Aviator Design

The silver aviator sunglasses Orvain reinterpret the classic aviator shape with a much more architectural front. Large smoke-gradient lenses create the foundation, while a strong horizontal brow structure gives the frame its distinctive identity.

Instead of relying on the thin double bridge normally seen on traditional aviators, Orvain uses a layered upper section. A dark brow bar stretches across the centre and sits above a contrasting lighter inset. This detail immediately draws attention to the top of the frame.

The result feels clean and geometric without losing the curved proportions associated with aviator eyewear.

Smoke Gradient Lenses

The lenses feature a clear gradient transition.

They begin with a deeper smoky grey tone across the upper section and gradually become lighter toward the lower edge. This creates a softer appearance than a fully dark solid lens.

The gradient is especially noticeable against the polished silver frame. It also helps emphasise the generous lens area without making the entire front appear visually heavy.

These silver aviator sunglasses therefore balance a substantial silhouette with a relatively restrained colour palette.

Layered Brow Construction

The brow design is the strongest feature of Orvain.

A dark horizontal element runs across the central upper section. Beneath it sits a lighter metallic-looking insert that follows the same elongated shape.

This layered construction adds depth to the front rather than using decoration purely on the temples.

Below the brow bar is an open rectangular section created by the double-bridge structure. The combination of open space and solid upper detailing gives the frame a technical, engineered appearance.

Slim Silver Lens Rims

A narrow silver-tone rim follows the outer perimeter of each lens.

The rim becomes more angular around the upper outer corners before flowing into the rounded lower profile. These subtle changes in direction keep the frame from appearing like a conventional aviator.

Clear adjustable nose pads sit behind the bridge and remain relatively discreet from the front.

Minimal Side Profile

The temples are intentionally simpler than the front.

Slim silver-tone arms extend backwards from angular hinge sections. Their restrained design allows the layered brow bar to remain the focal point.

Black temple tips finish the frame and echo the dark upper detailing across the front.

Modern Monochrome Contrast

Orvain primarily works with silver, smoke grey and black.

There are no bright colours or decorative patterns competing with the construction. Instead, the visual character comes from layering, shape and contrast.

That makes Orvain noticeably different from the gold aviators, rimless styles and more decorative frames previously added to the collection.
