Sculpted Cat-Eye Shape with a Softer Finish

Elvara black cat-eye sunglasses combine a bold dark frame with a softer, rounded interpretation of the classic upswept silhouette. The outer corners rise subtly instead of forming an extreme point, while the lower edges remain curved and balanced.

This creates a shape that immediately reads as cat-eye without becoming overly angular. The broad lenses also give the frame a stronger visual presence from the front.

Layered Black and Metallic Construction

One of Elvara’s most noticeable features is its layered rim design.

The main front is formed in glossy black, creating a substantial border around each lens. A slim metallic line then runs around the upper and outer sections of the frame. This contrast makes the lens shape more defined while preventing the black construction from appearing completely uniform.

A matching metallic bridge connects the two sides and provides another small break in the dark colour palette.

The combination gives Elvara black cat-eye sunglasses a more detailed appearance than a conventional single-colour full-rim frame.

Mauve Gradient Lenses

The lenses introduce a muted mauve-purple tone.

The colour is deepest across the upper portion before gradually becoming lighter toward the lower edge. This visible gradient softens the overall appearance of the sunglasses and contrasts nicely against the deeper black surrounding frame.

Rather than using a very bright lens colour, Elvara keeps the tint understated. The result works particularly well with the polished black and metallic detailing.

Bold Temples with a Clean Profile

The temples continue the dark frame colour and remain relatively substantial through their length.

Unlike the decorated temples seen on some of the earlier Lensciaga designs, these sides are intentionally simple. Their smooth finish allows the layered front construction and unusual lens shape to remain the main visual features.

The temples gently narrow and curve toward the ends, maintaining a streamlined profile when viewed from the side.

Distinctive Without Excess Decoration

Elvara relies more on proportion and contrast than decorative hardware.

The upswept outer corners establish the cat-eye character. The rounded lower lens edges soften that shape. Metallic edging then separates the dark frame from the mauve lenses and introduces a finer finishing detail.

This balance makes Elvara visually distinctive without requiring oversized ornaments or complex temple detailing. From a distance, it has a clean dark silhouette. Up close, the metallic rim and gradient lenses reveal the additional layers within the design.
