Valmont combines pale blue-to-clear gradient lenses with a lightweight rimless rectangular front, polished gold hardware and contrasting brown wood-effect temples. Layered gold corner details and decorative temple trim give the design its distinctive architectural finish.

Architectural Detail with a Lighter Lens Finish

Valmont rimless blue gradient sunglasses combine a clean rectangular silhouette with detailed gold hardware and contrasting brown temples. The almost transparent blue gradient lenses give this version a particularly light appearance while preserving the stronger architectural details around the bridge and temples.

The lenses begin with a pale ice-blue tint through the upper portion and gradually fade toward an almost clear finish below. This subtle transition keeps the front visually open and allows the gold construction to remain clearly visible.

Clean Rimless Rectangular Front

Valmont uses a largely rimless construction rather than surrounding the lenses with a conventional full frame. This produces a lighter front profile and places greater emphasis on the lens shape itself.

Each lens follows a wide rectangular outline with softened corners. A slim gold bridge connects the lenses, while an additional fine gold bar runs across the upper section.

The combination gives Valmont rimless blue gradient sunglasses more structure than a basic rimless design without making the front appear heavy.

Distinctive Gold Corner Detailing

One of the most recognizable features appears at each outer lens corner.

Three parallel gold sections extend outward from the lens before meeting the temples. These layered lines add depth and give the sides a more architectural appearance.

They also create a strong visual transition between the minimal rimless front and the more detailed temples.

Brown Wood-Effect Temples

The temples introduce a warm brown finish that resembles polished wood. This creates a noticeable contrast against the gold metal hardware and cool blue lenses.

Gold detailing frames the forward section of each temple. A long textured metallic strip sits along the brown surface and terminates in an angular decorative form.

This treatment prevents the temples from appearing plain when viewed from the side. The combination of brown and gold also adds warmth to an otherwise cool-toned lens design.

Light Blue Gradient Lenses

The lens treatment is deliberately subtle.

Rather than using a strongly saturated blue, Valmont uses a pale blue-grey shade that gradually becomes nearly transparent toward the bottom. The result is much softer than the deeper blue gradient sunglasses elsewhere in the collection.

The pale lenses also make the different construction elements easier to see. Gold mounting points, the central bridge and the intricate corner hardware remain visible rather than disappearing behind a dark tint.

Detailed Without Looking Heavy

Valmont balances ornamental side details with a restrained front profile.

The rimless lenses keep the centre clean. Meanwhile, the gold corner elements and wood-effect temples introduce most of the decorative character from the sides.

This contrast makes the design particularly distinctive: minimal when seen directly from the front, yet much more detailed when viewed from an angle.
