The black rounded eyeglasses of Virelle combine a smooth full-rim front with subtle purple detailing. The main frame is finished in solid black, creating a clean base that allows the contrasting accents to stand out without dominating the design.

Its lens shape sits between round and oval. The lower edges remain softly curved, while the upper rim rises gently toward the outer corners. This creates a broader, more open silhouette than a narrow oval frame while avoiding a completely circular appearance.

The bridge flows directly into the surrounding front. Its curved form follows the overall shape of the black rounded eyeglasses, keeping the centre clean and visually balanced.

Purple Accents Behind the Front

Virelle becomes more distinctive when viewed from the side and rear. Purple sections appear toward the ends of the temples, adding colour behind the otherwise black frame.

The contrast remains relatively discreet from the front. From an angled view, however, the purple elements become much more noticeable. This gives the frame a different appearance depending on how it is viewed.

Purple nose pads are also visible behind the bridge area. They introduce another small colour accent and visually connect the centre of the frame with the temple detailing.

Smooth Full-Rim Construction

A continuous black rim surrounds both lenses. The rim maintains a controlled thickness throughout most of the front, with slightly more visual weight around the outer corners.

The brow line rises gently from the bridge before moving toward the temples. There are no prominent decorative pieces on the front, allowing the rounded geometry and two-colour treatment to remain the main design features.

The outer corners extend only slightly beyond the lenses. Their restrained shape keeps the frame streamlined rather than sharply angular.

Contrasting Temple Design

The temples begin in black and maintain a relatively straight profile through the front section. Toward the rear, they transition into purple before curving into rounded temple tips.

Small stepped details appear around the transition between the black and purple sections. These subtle lines add texture without introducing separate decorative hardware.

The temples are broader near the hinges and gradually become more curved toward the ends. Their simple profile works well with the fuller rounded front.

Balanced Two-Colour Styling

Virelle uses colour selectively. Black remains dominant across the front and most visible exterior surfaces, while purple is concentrated around the inner details and temple ends.

This approach gives the frame more character than a completely black design while preserving a restrained overall appearance. The combination of a rounded-oval silhouette, smooth full rims and purple accents makes Virelle visually distinct without relying on excessive decoration.
