30315 – Virelle Edge

The cobalt blue cat-eye glasses of Virelle Edge use a narrow, angular silhouette to create a much sharper profile than a traditional rounded cat-eye. The glossy deep cobalt-blue front gives the frame a rich, saturated appearance, while the outer corners rise noticeably to form its defining upswept shape.

Rather than using exaggerated pointed wings, the frame keeps the upper line relatively controlled. The lower rims remain slim and gently curved, balancing the angular outer edges. This combination gives Virelle Edge a clean geometric character without making the design appear overly heavy.

Deep Blue Front

The front is finished in a consistent deep cobalt blue. Under stronger lighting, the glossy surface reflects highlights that make the colour appear brighter along the upper rim and outer edges.

The integrated bridge follows the same blue finish and sits neatly between the two lens rims. Its understated form helps maintain the uninterrupted flow of the front.

The full-rim construction outlines the lenses clearly. At the outer corners, the frame becomes slightly broader before tapering into the hinge area. This adds definition to the cat-eye shape and gives the front a more sculpted appearance.

Patterned Temple Detail

The temples bring an entirely different visual element to the frame. Their outer surfaces feature an abstract multicolour pattern containing smoky grey, black, violet, blue and muted pink tones. The pattern changes along the length of each arm rather than repeating as a simple solid colour.

This decorative treatment contrasts strongly with the uniform cobalt front. From a straight-on view, the frame appears clean and predominantly blue. From the side, the patterned arms become much more prominent and give the design an unexpected second character.

The temple tips follow the same patterned treatment, keeping the decorative finish continuous toward the ends.

Slim and Defined
